Des needed a condenser for a Mitsubishi Truck, after finding out the genuine part was not only expensive, but it was also at least 2 weeks away, he knew he needed to find a solution and fast!
His customer needed the truck running ASAP (this was his livelihood !) – and he needed the aircon running! There was no room for a 2 week delay to wait for parts.
Des reached for his trusty blue box - The Lokring box - and found exactly the fittings he needed, cut the old pipes off the condenser, used some pieces of alloy line he had sitting there and made it work.
Victory – a couple of hours later the truck was gassed, blowing cool, and he was away without delay!
