If you’re a regular Highgate Air customer, you have probably had a laugh with, and been helped by Gino, one of our Internal Sales Representatives.
Having been with the company for 3 years, Gino has some great stories to tell and has added undeniable value to how we conduct business and interact with our customers. There is no denying Gino has an uncompromised commitment to his customers and particularly to them as people – a born problem solver.
Gino’s passion for the automotive industry goes beyond being an A/C specialist, with his pride and joy, a 1956 Ford Thunderbird. Highgate has over 15,000 car a/c parts alone catalogued. This doesn’t include heavy duty, mining and agricultural listings, which were given a dedicated parts search in 2018 to make life easier for our techs who work on the big stuff. With Gino’s 25+ years experience within the industry – you know he will find the exact part you need to complete your job.
Gino’s working philosophy is simple, “treat all customers the same way you would like to be treated – with respect.” And his biggest passion in life? “To make sure my family enjoys life as much as I have.”
When asked who he admired, Gino responded with “anyone who pushes past human limitations”, and when Buzz Aldrin and Donald Campbell fall into his inspiration pool – you know the man has a true passion and respect for problem solving, courage and determination.
Here at Highgate Air, our values fall around honesty, loyalty, humility and excellence – all four are clear core values for Gino as he never finishes improving his expertise, working with passion and for the good of the team.
As we all switch our A/Cs over to heat with winter fast approaching, you will still find Gino enjoying his beach walks - we suspect that his 25 years in the industry has him continually chasing the feeling of cold air!
