About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio our highest value mining, agricultural, and heavy-duty verticals, and seeking opportunities to drive new business.


The role will have direct impact on the continued commercial success and growth of the organisation.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Achievement of applicable sales, service and activity targets

  • Manage and grow relationships with portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring you build strong and authentic relationships

  • Seek to identify opportunities to drive new business and new accounts

  • Outbound calling on leads from digital, social and eDM campaigns

  • Proactively engage with clients, problem solve and ensure our clients get the goods they need first time and on time

  • Keep up to date with industry and product knowledge to ensure you are providing customers with accurate and applicable information

  • Providing overflow support to the customer service team for inbound calls

Experience required

  • Demonstrable experience in account management role(s) (3 Years+)

  • Experience of success and delivering against sales targets

  • Experience of delivering exceptional levels of customer service for clients

  • Experience working in busy high-volume roles

  • Experience managing large-scale/enterprise accounts, preferably across the mining, agricultural or heavy-duty sectors
